Recent developments include a strategic supply partnership with SDF announced in early 2025, under which SDF manufactures proprietary Massey Ferguson utility tractors up to 85 horsepower for global markets starting mid-2025 to optimize costs, enhance competitiveness in emerging markets, and drive profitable growth through economies of scale; a €54 million investment in its AGCO Power division's Linnavuori, Finland plant opened in September 2025, expanding capacity for machining Continuously Variable Transmission components, cylinder heads for CORE engines, and remanufactured engines to support the circular economy and lower total cost of ownership for farmers; the divestiture of its Grain & Protein business—including GSI, Automated Production Systems, Tecno, Cimbria, and Cumberland brands—to American Industrial Partners completed in May 2025; and the formation of PTx Trimble joint venture following the 2024 acquisition of an 85% stake in Trimble's agriculture business for $2 billion to advance autonomous and precision technologies.
