In June 2025, Dana announced a definitive agreement to sell its off-highway business to Allison Transmission for $2.7 billion, a transaction that received all required regulatory approvals by November 2025 and is expected to close late in the fourth quarter, enabling a strategic focus on light- and commercial-vehicle propulsion systems, balance sheet strengthening, $1 billion in capital returns to shareholders, and ongoing $300 million cost-savings initiatives.
