Description

The price to sales ratio (P/S) is a way to compare how much the market values a company to how much revenue it generates. It is calculated by dividing the current market price of each share of the company by its sales per share. The sales per share is the amount of revenue that the company earns for each share of its stock. The sales per share is calculated by dividing the total revenue of the company by the number of shares outstanding. The formula for the price to sales ratio is:
