Hi There,
I mostly sell puts that expire in several months. I prefer to run trades all the way to expiration, unless there's some very good reason to exit early. I don't really think about ITM or OTM, but where I think an underlying share price will be by the expiration date, based on close observation over many months. Sometimes that winds up being ITM, and other times, OTM.
You'll never be able to capture all of a move unless you run to expiration (and are right!), so don't worry about a price rising or dropping after you exit.
What problem have you been having? Can you give us specific examples?

Good luck! I would advise sticking to sectors you know will be huge: energy, cancer, dna, data, real estate. So much change and work to be done there the winners will be much more valuable in 10 years.

development stage biotechs never report meaningful income until they establish a revenue stream and your due diligence would have uncovered any potential income prior to the earnings call.
I wouldn't hang all of my money on any single investment and I'm speaking from experience. Holding big on IMGN
Imgn has my interest as well, heard their might be a spike in June but the only thing scheduled is the BLA, know if that’s enough to move the stock?
Imgn...someone knows something 🤐
Imagine being the type of person that says things like "America is a decaying empire".

Interesting. Where do you see imgn stock being valued in 10 or 20 years?
I frequently pitch imgn . It is a cancer stock that has been beaten to death over the last 10+ years but are on the verge of a phase3 approval guided by the fda with the structure of their trial for a drug which was not approved the last time it was up for approval. The FDA saw the positivity in the results but were not able to approve without more test results.
End of 2021 should see atleast 1 approval for this company which would easily put it at 20 bucks but a take over could put it in the 10 bagger territory given the number of drugs in the pipeline.
Genentech uses imgn technology in their best cancer drug
Imgn will be approved for a phase 3 drug at the end of 2021
GENE 7.5c 1/15and IMGN 10c 1/15 buy that shit 💯 is gonna 🚀🚀🚀🚀 let’s pump these up!!!
I feel like most of the smaller biotech companies spend much of their long history under $5 pretty much ignored by everyone until one piece of news becomes relevant and those in the know start buying in anticipation of the actual run-up. They usually have a fairly small float (less than 200 million shares) and the stock price can move very quickly once they start making money with a drug.
Prior to earning money, the analysts don't really have a way of putting a value on their technology so investing can be hit or miss.
I've held my IMGN stock for YEARS and it's finally poised for a major move upwards in the next year. (Yes, I've been of this mindset before)
this second go round could get worse. Small business have already depleted cash reserves. The government doesn't appear to have the will to push through a 2nd stimulus (not sure that would really help very much).
I sold some shares in March and kept some of that cash in case a buying opportunity arises, but I'm long on a lot of reliable steady stocks that hopefully won't experience significant downward pressure. (DEA, WMT, even TSLA have been fairly resilient considering my entry prices)
I'm hoping my IMGN will triple over the next year and keep growing like SGEN which I sold way too soon. It's been a dog for the last 10 years.
IMGN calls
Anyone think IMGN calls are a good play? I feel as it is an undervalued stock.
I wrote a quick program to search for any company that has the key words "convalescent", "plasma", or "convalescent plasma" anywhere in the company description, and I was returned the list of tickers below. Beyond that, I have done no further analysis. Should be a starting point though. Certainly better than trying to sift through the 7000+ companies in the healthcare sector.
"A" "ABC" "ADMA" "AEIS" "AGLE" "AMBD" "APYX" "CANOF" "CERS" "HAE" "IMGN" "KALV" "LCTX" "LOFB" "LRCX" "MKSI" "PHRX" "PIRS" "RYAM" "RZLT" "TTOO"

I have start to invest in October 2019. Wanna keep my investments as long term. But if I would see that something is better to sell I will do this.
VUSA, I'm not able to buy VOO, as I'm in Europe, therefore buying VUSA in EUR. Wanna keep it around 33%.
The rest are shares. I was lucky with REGI, gain 106%. Tech companies have the share of 35%. My bad decisions are LPL and XRX as I did it at the beginning. XRX I will keep. But LPL will sell.
The rest at this point of time I'm thinking to keep.
What do you think about my portfolio? Is it too much diverse? Should I sell some companies as there is no sense to keep them? What companies among the list above should I keep as they have very good perspective.
Thanks.
IMGN
I decided to buy more after watching this investor conference Q&A
https://wsw.com/webcast/canaccord42/imgn/index.aspx
it's a 24 min video.
TLDR: they didn't get p3 approval last time and the FDA told them exactly what they wanted to see inorder to achieve P3 approval. next year should be transformational.
6000 shares imgn
The lawsuit, from what I gathered when it originally was brought up, stressed that the CEO said they “found a cure” in 3 hours time, which made investors flock to buy—then when the press conference happened, he recanted his statement and said something to the effect of “we did not find the cure, but we did map the DNA of the virus”.
The issue is partially that they have consistently gotten to phase 2/3—without ever producing the vaccine itself. They already stated that would not be able to mass produce it because they do not have the facilities or production capabilities and were in talks to partner with IMGN, but no other information came from that afterwards. INO has potential, and has consistently increased increased its value—partially because of its releases, and partially because MRNA and NVAX have made progress which they “ride the coattails on”. The pattern of INO has consistently been mid-month press release or development, followed by gap ups that last 2-3 days, then a 3-4 week bleed or yo-yo. It’s been this way since March. It’s up 600-something percent in 5 months time, topping 1,000% at one point.
I wasn't sure which of the 10-15 to choose. I had VBIV, PFE, and AZN all throughout May and/or June. I gave up too early. I still own a lot of DVAX, so I'm still happy with my research. IMGN and INGN were duds, and I owned some of those too.
IMGN - Will spike tuesday / Wednesday next week
