Twitter, Inc. (delisted)TWTRNYSE
I appreciate you putting a finer point on your levels of expectations. I would like to observe on the subject of China general Economy, the real estate meltdown is presently well underway, and IMO drive down consumption further even among the wealthy. I am a bit more dour with respects to all of the headlines surrounding Musk. It is a drag on TSLA as you eluded to earlier, however, I fear a gathering storm of powerful interests laser focused on him as a result of the TWTR acquisition. To me, this is a huge X in any equation determining a fair value entry point into the stock. Do some thing nice for someone they will tell their mother, do something bad to someone they tell everyone they know. Appreciate your sharing🙏🏻
I enjoyed both of your posts and respect your DD. Having said that, I would suggest a couple of questions to compel me with your arguments. First, the downtrend in sales in China are down and declining as I understand and is that baked into your expectations? Secondly, Elon made very large stock sale on November 4th to cover for TWTR and I am interested to know what you feel the impact on SpaceX Twitter and of course Tesla for the next fiscal year or two? Thank you both.
$aapl is a dying 💀 company.
If $goog and $aapl pull $twtr from their app stores, I ask that all of you ditch iPhones and your Androids- I will be doing so myself.
I look forward to buying the new satellite 📡 enabled $tsla phone, coming in few months.
Buy stock for years, LT story still intact. For trading, think we will see a bounce close to $200. Beyond that, depends on factors like musk focus on Twtr, economy, electricity prices
TWTR executives made one of the best deals in the history of US corporate finance unloading it on Musk for 2-3x market value.
Wait wait wait. So Musk just fires like 90% of TWTR staff and it's still up and running just fine, but people still thinking that was a terrible idea?
Checkin YT and TWTR incessantly at 12:06 AM for black Friday fight vids. For some reason, I think this year gon be disappointin
Lmao look who ended up having to buy TWTR
It’s called “amateur hour”.
Everyone stuffed with turkey, and stock picks from drunken Uncle Norman.
Hmmmm, can’t find the chart for TWTR…
Now, wait is Kathy Wood a CEO, or an OnlyFans performer? Which uncle gave me that tip?
The pre-Thanksgiving pump is definitely gonna last with TWTR being shit it is & TSLA recalls. They wanted to fuk hog bers which they did, next in line? Hog bools!
Too much congressional ownership of AAPL stock for anything to come from this. Apple has fucked over Facebook, Epic Games, and countless others. If the deep pockets of Facebook and Epic weren’t able to effect change, what the hell is Musk and bankrupt TWTR gonna do?
good job TSLA bulls you're doing as well as TWTR
Wasn’t it one of his BS polls to buy Twtr or not, that he got committed to buying it! Says lot about decision making by twtr polls.
Parag should take over, build a twtr alt solution by hiring all the talent ex-twtr.
Someone needs to build a twtr alt app, why not meta?
Ok bud cut R&D in half and you’re green. Because TWTR is known for innovation they totally need all that.
TBH, if he can control the R&D and cost of sales, that should get them in the black fairly fast.
I mean, not fast enough to recuperate the $44b he and his friends injected into the company anytime soon, but maybe fast enough that when they relist TWTR that it will impress investors within a few quarters.
Sold tsla at the top. Bought twtr at the top.
Elon, Elon, Elon. Why do you insist on putting your dick on the desks at TWTR? Don't you know that only drives TSLA stock down further when they understand how small and insignificant your dick is?
Yeah, we get the point you were trying to make about "so small TWTR confuses it for a worm" as you asked the engineers to fix it, but come on. What about your loyal TSLA bros who watched another 2% drop off their retirement savings with that stunt.
BEARS SAID TWTR WAS GOING 2 CRASH AFTER 80% OF TEH FAT WAS TRIMMED
lol. Talking to the wrong person. I’m cashed up. Waiting for The capitulation. People are still HODL (not just TSLA but also Crypto). Also spending (as seen in high credit card and student loan debt outstanding). People quitting good paying (TWTR) jobs while the tech job market is greatly weakening.
Big Pain to come.
HEY MORANS WHENS TWTR GOING DOWN
Oh, it's better: he bought TWTR at the top, but sold TSLA after the crash.
How? By agreeing to a price in writing just before the crash. That's why he was so keen to wiggle out. The market screwed him both ways. And now he's screwing himself again for good measure. Lol.
Ya, he's burning cash. I bet he used TSLA shares as collateral for twtr loans. Margin call might be coming
Wish twtr puts was still an option 😭
Wow just woke up. $TSLA trading at 25x 2023 earnings is insane. Even if you are a bear....25x for Tesla is value territory. Company is growing 40-50% a year. This may be too technical for some of you. If so, continue trading on outrage over TWTR.
Think I’m going to cop some TWTR x DWAC mercy from StockX
Ligma is back at Twitter, $TWTR is saved!
Lol I guess my OP was lamenting “regards such as yourself seem to think they are not entirely wrong about their world views.”
All I was saying was on Saturday, confidence was HIGH that TWTR was gonna be offline. It’s Monday. It’s online. Those who predicted immediate doom and gloom were incorrect this time. Perhaps their prediction was early.
I hear TWTR has some openings
TSLA is the only stock that is capable of being a penny stock in a bull market with strong earnings.... Elon would just need to sell more shares to buy TWTR
He did announce the thing literally 24 hours after I sold my TWTR calls for a 0DTE :(
How is it not? Entire departments are gutted, less than 50% decided to stay after Enron made his take it or leave it ultimatum. Advertisers are fleeing by the dozen and Enron himself said twtr was facing bankruptcy if they couldn't bring in more revenue?? Reports are now coming out Enron and his executives personally begged critical employees to stay, but was literally hung up on while he was talking. So, what's your reasons for why its not imploding? Please tell since you see all sides. Market agrees with me btw, tsla isn't dropping because they think twtr is going great
He said he has about another two weeks of gutting TWTR before his bloodlust is sated.
Thousands of people said TWTR would go down. It didn’t. Good reminder that most people are stupid and even the smart people can’t predict the future.
TSLA's TWTR problem is much worse than I thought lol.
I have a theory - TWTR layoffs aren't about job performance or engineering. Its actual Elon playing "The Bachelor" with a pool of 7000 people because he needs that big a sample size to find just one person he's capable of sexually assaulting for more kids.
>You're absolutely right, TWTR has been terrible for TSLA's image. The constant stream of negativity and Tesla bashing has taken its toll on the stock price. I'm still bullish on TSLA though, I think they will eventually turn things around and start making money again. Thanks for your input!
I want to buy puts but they are dropping so fast it's tough to find a entry point lol
TSLA was largely built on a cult of personality, and that cult is rapidly fading (or at least shifting to a different demographic)
TWTR may be the worst thing that ever happened to TSLA
The twtr stuff is seriously overblown by hysterical nutcases.
It's gonna fall to 150s by mid January
Then stabilizing of fed rates should prevent it from falling more
But.... BYD is exploding in China and will threaten Tsla growth there
and car prices r dropping now
Expect Tesla to oscillate from 150 to 250 in my imo next year as the overall economy keeps demand up
All this presumes Musk's Twtr fiasco is an isolated midlife crisis mental breakdown which won't be repeated.... And that he hasn't significantly pissed off the ev demographic
If it's in your IRA, you can pair it back without tax consequence. I personally think that TSLA is massively undervalued. Most of the Reddit people are looking at market cap as their metric. That is the equivalent of saying a Channel bag is overvalued because it's worth more than all other bags. It's demonstrates zero understanding of valuation. Even the latest analysis from Seeking Alpha (who rarely employs anyone that bothers to go into the K's and Q's instead of just mouthing a bunch of silliness from the data feeds) is taking their "sell TSLA" position because it won't be $4tr with just cars. What a dumb analysis for shorting a stock.
I think the Street has largely moved toward technical analysis in its recommendations because it's cheaper for them to do so. I've rarely seen an argument that actually is based on meaningful fundamental analysis. The only thing I see as causing pressure on the stock at current, is a need for the board to renegotiate the forward compensation package for Elon and Elon selling the stock himself to pay for TWTR overhang.
Even if you slowed the growth rate by 1/2 it would be undervalued. Its battery biz finally showed massive revenue and earnings growth. Hence, as much as people hate on Cathy Wood, the two things she mentioned we'd start to see are happening, i.e. economy of scale on the core auto biz (both the selling of cars and fixing of cars) and the ancillary tech biz's becoming a part of earnings growth going forward. As far as the hater memes, they all want to use market cap, but if you recast the same memes with Profitability (operating margins, net margins, ROI, earnings yield) you'd get an incredibly different picture.
Finally, it depends on how you buy stock. if you're really there for the early stages and you want hard core growth stocks in your book like TSLA early days, then it's likely a style change for you and that's also a good reason to swap out. If instead, you also own GOOGL, AAPL, and MSFT, then TSLA should also be a hold.
You didn't hear? He 'kindly' asked the people who were essential to oporating TWTR to come back. 😆 just shows how clueless he was lol. Honestly, if I could invest in just Elon I would but his business decisions as of late have been pretty bad.
I wish TWTR would go public again
🥭 is so done that even 🥭 doesn’t care he’s been reinstated to TWTR
The only question is when the crash happens. Eventually traditional car companies will make up the gap - Tesla (and the others') valuation is obviously silly - it's just a matter of time before it comes back down to earth. Someone's going to make some serious money on this and it's going to cause chaos for Elon if it happens before he's got his TWTR financing cleaned up. Hell, this Twitter thing might just be the catalyst.
Twitter stock is privately held and is presumably worth quite a bit less than Elon Musk and syndicates paid for it, but there is no published price for it because it is not actively traded. If you are looking at some chart of TWTR, that represents a cash claim that was paid by Musk, not an equity claim on the future of Twitter.
Why didn't TWTR stocks fall even though it's doing awful an no one trust in it nor want to keep investing in it?
It seems like it's a time bomb, but his stocks rather than fall are going up, I couldn't understand why
Musk is cutting more jobs on Monday. This time TWTR's sales people
At this point, it would have been just cheaper to build his own TWTR
God he's such a prick
TWTR to the moon
Most people know it doesn't take much to run a chat system. WhatsApp is always cited as the prime example of this. 55 people were running that with a bigger user base than TWTR today when they got bought by META. Instagram only had 13! employees.
There was obviously some fat to cut at TWTR, but whether or not the general public agrees it was content moderation and all the people necessary for keeping a public company going (accountancy, security, etc.) is a different issue.
You guys joke, but on r/options there was quite a lengthy discussion about buying LEAPS on TWTR just a few months ago. Trying to explain that the company was delisting when sold to Musk, literally in the same way as if it had folded, was exhausting.
Mind that implement China work practices: 996 weeks, stack ranking/pip, fake merit system via networking only for vp's and above. He's got 1st hand experience with GigaShanghai. And the fri. ultimatum proves that direction. Makes sense if he wants to compete with Tencent.
WeChat app design is pretty powerful, mind that it ONLY works cause the CCP allows Tencent full surveillance capabilities in return gives them access to the data anytime. Elon thinks he can decentralize the design, maybe use Jack's blue sky. IMO, big risk evident from a similar example: crypto.
And with conducting the biggest poll on twtr yesterday and letting you know who back on it begs to ask: how many bots were in the poll? Considering it wasn't an anonymous poll: you're now tagged and verified (those with blue chks) in his private DB if you voted. Prepare to be exploited.
wait, i can't buy TWTR any more, no fun, elon poll this and fix it, thank you
The dog that caught the car: Musk's performance as TWTR CEO. (1) immediately abdicated responsibility for company leadership and major decision-making (what should TWTR do, poll to reinstate Trump) choosing instead to crowd-source his own duty. (2) Alienated employees. Great engineer != great CEO.
Wonder what TWTR would be worth now if they went public again
imagine voluntarly quiting twtr during its new startup phase and tehn missing out on huge stock gain when it going public again
woowoww all twtr devs that didnt leave got 2 meet and write code wit elon musk the richest man in the world 😲
You saw the shitshow in TWTR and decided TSLA is going up? You belong here! Just switch to puts.
TWTR hype will die down in a few weeks.
Wait and see. TWTR will be a $1T company by 2026.
If TWTR was re-listed Monday, what share price do you think it should list for? He paid $54.30.
TWTR is not a ticker, wrong sub for this post
>I'm not sure when hardcore twtr will be released, but Kathy Griffin is definitely back and better than ever!
Anyone know when hardcore twtr will be released? Really excited that Kathy Griffin is back btw
Elon constantly throwing shit around at twitter is pushing TWTR to the top of the "Trending Tickers" on yahoo finance. Gaddamn get that shit off of there, it even says delisted on the page.
Elon is seriously going off the rails at TWTR.
Competing with SBF for the spotlight?
He could always YOLO on some 0DTE $TSLA puts. I hear $TWTR is going down and apparently it’s tied to the brainiac who paid three times what it’s worth.
Breaking: All Pastry Chefs were let go at TWTR because engineers didn't finish their vegetables before the 2 PM deadline.
hey morans whens twtr going down
Then how does it have a stock ticker on a publicly traded exchange? https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/TWTR/
Price of TSLA is abnormally tied to the actions of it's CEO. Elon sold a bunch of shares to offset his TWTR purchase and is clearly distracted by the whole TWTR mess. I'd wait a while before making a long bet.
Any chance that someone else will buy twtr at massively discounted price?
Hilarious that TWTR is the most searched ticker on Yahoo finance for the last two days
'What should TWTR do next' is a ? for the CEO. Busy overthrowing Putin, but I'll help: Make all employees shareholders so their fortunes are linked to the company's. Or wait until I make this practice mandatory by presidential executive order for all businesses that employ Americans. God save USA.
If ELON bought TWTR he should have just got the CFO or senior executives to continue running it and just stay as the CEO. But instead he decided to fire everyone and now hes in a tough spot
Twitter will be fine.
WeChat made it to 1B users with 100x more utility and only 47 employees. Twitter isn't halfway there and does one thing very mediocrely (is that a word) and had over 8,000 employees
Put yourself in the employees shoes: they lived in an adult daycare and now have to actually work. Hard. They can get the same salary at a million other places in SF right now. So why wouldn't you? Unless you want TWTR equity.
Plenty of legends like George Hotz have stepped up to work at Twitter and make it awesome. Elon wants the company to be extremely lean. Look @ TSLAs OpEx relative to top line - it's trending in AAPLs direction.
Rip twtr like rip Joe Rogan
Really bummed we can't watch TWTR stock absolutely crumble
Hey Elon simps here and on twtr, heard he gifts horses for sucking his tiny dingdong.
Elon is stupid. He should just list $TWTR again so $TSLA shareholders and fanboys can pump it up to 500B valuation cause they're morons
People seriously feeling so bad for the TWTR employees who got fired and 3 months pay as though they were the cleaners or that they were struggling to feed their families or some shit.
Elon levered up his TSLA shares to buy TWTR. The interest payments on the train he’s is 1.3 billion. This isn’t going to end week for TSLA bulls.
if u apply 2 twtr u meet elon
Twtr has now lost 88% of it's staff
tsla will come back when the twtr stuff cools off
I was wondering why TWTR was trending on Yahoo Finance...bruh it's not even a stock anymore let it die
How many regards does it take to make twtr trend on yahoo finance anyways?
