Business
Entravision Communications Corporation operates as a diversified media and advertising technology company targeting U.S. Hispanic and Latino audiences, along with select international markets; it owns and operates television stations affiliated primarily with Univision and UniMás networks, radio stations featuring brands such as La Tricolor, La Suavecita, Fuego, TUDN Radio, José, Viva, The Fox, RGV, and Q, and digital platforms delivering display, email, social media, web-based advertising, SEO, paid search, digital audio, CTV/OTT, DOOH, and branded content services. The company provides mobile growth solutions through its Smadex programmatic advertising platform for user acquisition, re-engagement, and brand awareness across mobile, video, audio, and native channels, as well as Adwake performance-based media advertising agency services; it also operates Audio Engage, an audio network with over 300 premium publishers, and maintains operations in key U.S. Hispanic markets including Los Angeles, New York, Miami, Chicago, Houston, San Antonio, Phoenix, Sacramento, and Fresno, with additional presence in Mexico and other regions. Founded in 1996 and headquartered in Burbank, California, Entravision focuses on integrated media solutions encompassing television broadcasting of Spanish- and English-language programming, Spanish-language radio networks, outdoor media, events, data analytics, and technology-driven advertising for small-to-medium businesses and national brands. In mid-2024, Aleph Group acquired Entravision Global Partners, the company's digital commercial partnership business unit, enabling Entravision to streamline operations and prioritize its core media and remaining advertising technology segments including Smadex and Adwake; during Q3 2025, the company implemented an organizational redesign reducing media segment workforce by approximately 5% in back-office roles, abandoning certain leased facilities for remote work transitions, and shutting down legacy international operations within the advertising technology and services segment to cut annual operating expenses by about $5 million while investing in local sales capacity, digital sales specialists, engineering for AI enhancements, and infrastructure. In July 2025, Entravision amended its credit agreement to bolster financial stability by increasing scheduled quarterly term loan payments to $5 million from $2.5 million, reducing revolving credit facility commitments to $30 million from $75 million, and adjusting net leverage ratio terms, with the facility maturing in March 2028; full-year 2024 results reflected net revenue growth of 23% driven by record political advertising and advertising technology gains.
