(NASDAQ: ULTA) operates as the largest beauty retailer in the United States, offering an extensive assortment of cosmetics, fragrance, skincare, haircare, bath and body products, professional hair products, salon styling tools and beauty services through approximately 1,500 retail stores, e-commerce platforms, and mobile applications; the company features over 25,000 products from more than 600 brands including prestige names such as MAC Cosmetics, Kylie Cosmetics, Moroccanoil, Peach & Lily, Orebella, Morphe and ColourPop alongside its private label Ulta Beauty Collection and provides in-store salon services encompassing hair, makeup, brow, skin and nail treatments. Founded in 1990 and headquartered in Bolingbrook, Illinois, Ulta Beauty serves mass and prestige market segments targeting beauty enthusiasts with its All Things Beauty, All in One Place model supported by the Ulta Beauty Rewards loyalty program. The company expanded internationally through a joint venture with Grupo Axo in Mexico where it opened its first stores in August 2025 at locations including Antara Fashion Hall and Galerías Metepec followed by additional sites in Guadalajara, Monterrey and Tijuana; it launched its Middle East debut with a franchise partnership alongside Alshaya Group opening the first store at The Avenues in Kuwait on November 7, 2025 with planned expansions to UAE malls and Saudi Arabia in 2026; Ulta Beauty acquired UK luxury beauty retailer Space NK in 2025 enhancing its prestige offerings and global footprint while introducing UB Marketplace for expanded third-party beauty and wellness discovery; it appointed Christopher DelOrefice as Chief Financial Officer in October 2025 and added Martin Brok and Stephenie Landry to its board of directors in August 2025 while announcing the Moroccanoil brand expansion into 800 stores in August 2025.
