The Defense, Space & Security segment engages in the research, engineering, manufacturing, and enhancement of both crewed and uncrewed military aviation and weapon platforms. This unit also encompasses strategic defense and intelligence systems, which include advanced missile defense, command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (C4ISR) solutions, cyber operations, and sophisticated satellite systems for both governmental and commercial clients, as well as space exploration endeavors. The Global Services segment provides a comprehensive suite of products and support, covering supply chain and logistics management, engineering assistance, maintenance and modification services, upgrades, conversions, spare parts, pilot and technical training programs, specialized documentation, and data analytics with digital solutions for its commercial and defense clientele. The Boeing Capital unit offers financial services and manages the company's exposure from a portfolio of assets, including equipment under operational and sales-type/finance leases, notes, other receivables, assets available for sale or re-lease, and various investments. The company was originally incorporated in 1916 and has its current corporate headquarters situated in Arlington, Virginia. Recent operational focus has centered on strengthening safety and quality across its programs, with significant order backlogs contributing to its forward revenue visibility.
