The company operates approximately 1,081 locations across 24 states, primarily in the western U.S. with expansion reaching Florida, through a mix of company-owned and franchised shops; it shifted away from new franchising in 2017 to prioritize company-operated growth. Recent developments include a licensing agreement with Trilliant Food & Nutrition LLC announced in early 2025 to launch Dutch Bros-branded coffee and beverages in 50,000 U.S. retail outlets; opening of a 65,000-square-foot distribution and roasting center in Melissa, Texas, in 2024; strong Q3 2025 financial results with 25% year-over-year revenue growth and 5.7% same-shop sales increase; and ambitious expansion plans targeting 2,029 shops by 2029 supported by mobile ordering enhancements introduced late 2024 and a planned food menu expansion in 2026.
