The company offers HVAC systems including residential and commercial units, chilled water systems, DX products, digital controls, building automation, and services for energy efficiency, indoor air quality, health, safety, and productivity; refrigeration solutions encompassing transport systems for trucks, trailers, shipping containers, intermodal applications, food retail, and cold chain monitoring for perishable goods like food and medicine; aftermarket maintenance, repairs, parts, and upgrades. Carrier Global operates through HVAC and Refrigeration segments, emphasizing sustainable, digitally enabled lifecycle solutions and investing heavily in research and development, with $694 million spent in 2024. Recent developments include the 2024 acquisition and integration of Viessmann Climate Solutions to create the industry's most comprehensive global HVAC portfolio; the May 2025 acquisition of long-term partner Addvolt S.A., a Portuguese transport electrification technology firm, to enhance non-invasive electric systems for refrigerated vans, trucks, trailers, and containers, reducing emissions and expanding beyond refrigeration; divestiture of its Global Access Solutions business to Honeywell in June 2024 for $4.95 billion and plans to exit Commercial Refrigeration, yielding over $10 billion in total divestiture proceeds; and reporting strong 2024 results with $22.5 billion in sales up 19%, adjusted EPS of $2.56 up 16%, and 2025 guidance for mid-single-digit organic growth, adjusted operating margin expansion to 16.5%-17.0%, and adjusted EPS of $2.95-$3.05.
