Destination XL Group, founded in 1976 and headquartered in Canton, Massachusetts, maintains two principal operating segments comprising store-based retail and direct-to-consumer business including e-commerce and catalog operations. In recent developments, the company expanded its partnership with Bluecore in early 2025 to consolidate marketing technologies, enhance customer data management, audience segmentation and personalized campaigns across channels to drive repeat purchases and re-engage lapsed buyers. Destination XL reported fiscal 2024 results in March 2025, highlighting seven new DXL store openings, two relocations, eight Casual Male XL conversions to DXL format, five remodels and the launch of an upgraded e-commerce platform alongside an improved rewards program; it repurchased 4.9 million shares for $13.7 million and generated $29.6 million in operating cash flow. During the first half of fiscal 2025, it opened six new DXL stores, converted seven locations to DXL formats and extended its credit facility to $100 million for five years while reducing inventory levels; in December 2024, it received a non-binding $3 per share acquisition proposal from Fund 1 Investments, LLC, which the board continues to review alongside other strategic opportunities, and plans two additional DXL store openings in fiscal 2025 with a pause thereafter pending market improvement.
