(Nasdaq: FISI) is a financial holding company headquartered in Warsaw, New York, with approximately $6.3 billion in assets as of September 30, 2025, that provides diversified banking, lending, wealth management, and insurance services to consumer, commercial, municipal, healthcare, not-for-profit, and institutional customers primarily in Western and Central New York, with a commercial loan production office serving the Mid-Atlantic region. Through its wholly owned subsidiaries, the company offers consumer and commercial banking products including checking and savings accounts, money market accounts, time deposits, commercial business loans, commercial mortgage loans (construction, multifamily, non-owner occupied, and owner occupied), residential real estate loans and lines, consumer indirect loans, and other consumer loans; wealth management services comprising customized investment management, financial planning, investment consulting, and retirement plan services via Courier Capital, LLC and HNP Capital, LLC; and insurance services through SDN Insurance Agency, LLC. Five Star Bank operates approximately 45 banking offices across its core markets and maintains an indirect lending network with franchised automobile dealers. In recent developments, the company restructured a portion of its corporate-owned life insurance (COLI) portfolio into higher-yielding separate account policies in January 2025, contributing to improved noninterest income; reported third quarter 2025 net income available to common shareholders of $20.1 million; announced a quarterly cash dividend in November 2025; and continues to focus on deposit growth, margin expansion, and capital strength amid sequential quarterly improvements.
