Halliburton Company provides products and services to the energy industry worldwide, operating through two main segments: Completion and Production, and Drilling and Evaluation; the Completion and Production segment delivers cementing, stimulation, specialty chemicals, intervention, pressure control, artificial lift, completion tools, pipeline and process services, production enhancement, and production solutions; the Drilling and Evaluation segment offers field and reservoir modeling, drilling fluids, evaluation, precise wellbore placement, Baroid, drill bits and services, Halliburton project management, Landmark software and services, Sperry drilling, testing and subsea, wireline and perforating. Founded in 1919 and headquartered in Houston, Texas, with a corporate office in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, Halliburton serves upstream oil and gas customers in more than 70 countries through 14 product service lines including artificial lift, cementing, chemical services, consulting, coring, drill bits, drilling, fluid services, formation evaluation, hole enlargement, integrated asset management, pipeline and process services, project management, real-time services, reservoir and fracture monitoring, reservoir testing and analysis, sand control, software and services, stimulation, subsea, wellbore service tools, well completions, well control and prevention services, well intervention, and wireline and perforating. Recent developments include a June 2025 commercial contract with GeoFrame Energy to plan and design wells for a combined geothermal and Direct Lithium Extraction project, marking entry into the battery materials supply chain using existing AI-powered platforms like DecisionSpace 365; a collaboration with VoltaGrid announced in October 2025 to provide low-emission power solutions for data centers starting in the Middle East, leveraging Halliburton's 20% ownership in VoltaGrid; and contracts awarded by Petrobras in October 2025 for deepwater completions and stimulation services off Brazil, set to commence in 2026, utilizing Stim Star Brasil technology.
