HealthEquity serves over 17 million total accounts including approximately 9 million HSAs with assets exceeding $29 billion, primarily through direct sales, health plans, benefits administrators, brokers, consultants, and retirement plan record-keepers. Founded in 2002 in Tucson, Arizona by Dr. Stephen D. Neeleman and others, with headquarters relocated to Draper, Utah at 15 West Scenic Pointe Drive, the company operates as a non-bank HSA trustee designated by the IRS and employs around 3,120 people. In recent developments, HealthEquity completed the acquisition of Conduent's BenefitWallet HSA portfolio in multiple tranches during fiscal 2024 and early 2025 for approximately $425 million, adding roughly 665,000 accounts and $2.7 billion in assets; launched a $300 million share repurchase program; expanded partnerships including with Agile Telehealth for HSA-eligible GLP-1 weight management care; and reported third-quarter fiscal 2026 results on December 3, 2025, with revenue up 7% to $322.2 million and net income per diluted share rising to $0.59.
