Business
LL Flooring Holdings, Inc. operates as a specialty retailer of hard-surface flooring products and enhancements through a multi-channel platform including over 200 stores across the United States, an e-commerce website, and installation services. The company offers an extensive assortment of flooring products such as waterproof hybrid resilient and vinyl plank flooring, solid and engineered hardwood, laminate, bamboo, tile, cork, and butcher block countertops under brands including Bellawood, Coreluxe, ReNature by Coreluxe, Duravana, Avella, Builder's Pride, and Virginia Mill Works; flooring enhancements and accessories comprising moldings, underlayment, adhesives, and tools; and related services like in-home delivery, professional installation, and visualizer tools. Founded in 1994 and headquartered in Richmond, Virginia, LL Flooring primarily serves homeowners, contractors, and commercial customers in North America with a focus on value-driven domestic and exotic species. In 2024, the company filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in August, reversed a planned liquidation by entering a going-concern asset purchase agreement with F9 Investments in September—its largest shareholder—for 219 stores, inventory, distribution centers, and intellectual property, and completed the sale in October to preserve operations and ensure a seamless transition for customers while conducting store closing sales at non-acquired locations.
