Louisiana-Pacific Corporation (LP Building Solutions; NYSE: LPX), founded in 1973 and headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee, manufactures and markets high-performance engineered wood building products for new residential construction, repair and remodeling, multifamily projects, light commercial facilities and outdoor structures worldwide. The company produces oriented strand board (OSB) sheathing, flooring and radiant barrier panels including LP TechShield; exterior siding and trim systems such as LP SmartSide and LP SmartSide ExpertFinish; engineered wood framing products including LP SolidStart laminated veneer lumber and I-joists; sub-flooring solutions like LP TopNotch 350, LP Legacy Premium and LP FlameBlock fire-rated sheathing; and air and water barriers such as LP WeatherLogic; with operations including mills across the United States, Canada, Chile and Brazil. LP sells its products through building materials distributors, dealers and retail home centers to homebuilders, remodelers and commercial builders, emphasizing sustainable, carbon-negative materials certified under standards like LEED, WELL and National Green Building Standard.
