Public Storage targets small businesses, entrepreneurs, corporations for inventory and equipment storage, and residential customers needing temporary solutions, emphasizing secure, accessible facilities with advanced security systems, online reservations, and sustainability initiatives like energy-efficient designs. In 2025, the company accelerated its growth strategy through opportunistic acquisitions, purchasing 74 facilities totaling 5.2 million square feet across 17 states for $814.6 million in the first nine months, including 49 facilities with 3.4 million square feet for $511.4 million in the third quarter alone; it completed or contracted $1.3 billion in wholly owned acquisitions and developments year-to-date, raised its full-year outlook for core funds from operations amid stabilizing operations, and issued senior notes including a $875 million public offering to fund investments and repay debt.
