E-Infrastructure Solutions offers advanced, large-scale site development services for data centers, manufacturing facilities, e-commerce distribution centers, warehousing, and power generation; Transportation Solutions delivers infrastructure construction and rehabilitation for highways, roads, bridges, airports, ports, rail lines, and storm drainage systems; Building Solutions encompasses residential and commercial concrete foundations for single-family and multi-family homes, parking structures, elevated slabs, other concrete structures, plumbing services, and land surveys for new residential developments. The company, originally founded in 1955 as Oakhurst Company, Inc. in Sterling Heights, Michigan, and relocated to Houston, Texas in 1978, is headquartered in The Woodlands, Texas, and operates through a portfolio of subsidiaries with a focus on high-growth, lower-risk markets. Recent developments include the June 2025 agreement to acquire CEC Facilities Group, LLC for $505 million to expand E-Infrastructure electrical and mechanical services in mission-critical sectors like semiconductors and data centers, expected to close in Q3 2025; acquisitions of Drake Concrete, LLC and Professional Plumbers Group to enhance Building Solutions capacity in Texas residential markets; the sale of its 50% interest in Road and Highway Builders, LLC; and the June 2025 extension and expansion of its credit facility to June 2028 with improved terms, including a $300 million term loan and $150 million revolving facility, alongside a $400 million share repurchase authorization in November 2025.
