Founded in 1955 by John H. McConnell and headquartered in Columbus, Ohio, the company maintains 39 facilities worldwide, including joint ventures, and employs nearly 6,000 people serving markets in heating, cooling, construction, power generation, water management and specialty consumer categories primarily in North America and Europe. In June 2025, Worthington Enterprises acquired Elgen Manufacturing for approximately $93 million to expand its building systems and components portfolio with HVAC componentry and recurring maintenance revenue streams; it also rebranded Viking Cylinders to Ragasco for the North American market in March 2025, launched innovative products such as Balloon Time Mini and SureSense, announced price increases of 5% to 15% on select products effective April 2025, increased its quarterly dividend by 12% in June 2025, and invested heavily in facility modernization and automation with $25 million in fiscal 2025 CapEx rising to $45 million in fiscal 2026, targeting 6%-8% sales growth and 24% EBITDA margins through organic innovation and inorganic expansion.
