Business
Lennar Corporation (NYSE: LEN-B) operates as one of the largest homebuilders in the United States, designing, constructing and selling single-family attached and detached homes, townhomes, condominiums, active adult communities and Next Gen multigenerational homes primarily under the Lennar brand; it also develops, constructs and manages multifamily rental properties, purchases, develops and sells residential land, and provides mortgage financing, title insurance, closing services, property and casualty insurance through Lennar Mortgage, Lennar Title and Lennar Insurance Agency, as well as originates and sells securitized commercial mortgage loans via LMF Commercial and engages in fund investment activities. The company serves first-time, move-up, active adult and luxury homebuyers across Homebuilding East, Homebuilding Central, Homebuilding Texas, Homebuilding West, Financial Services, Multifamily and Lennar Other segments in more than 20 states and 700 communities nationwide from its headquarters in Miami, Florida, where it was founded in 1954. In early 2025, Lennar completed the spin-off of approximately 80% of its Millrose Properties subsidiary to pursue a land-light model using the HOPP’R platform for homesite options, reducing traditional land banking risks; it simultaneously acquired the operating business, personnel and assets of Rausch Coleman Homes, adding about 5,000 affordable homes at an average sales price of $230,000 to support 10% growth in fiscal 2025, while Millrose acquired Rausch's land assets with Lennar retaining purchase options.
